TextFlow wins the Basex Excellence Award

It’s always nice to win an award, and the great thing about a virtual event like the the first-ever Information Overload Awareness Day is that you don’t get dazzled by paparazzi cameras flashing.  It’s a great way to organise an international meeting too, with no jet travel footprint and no jet lag.  This one was organised by Basex, one of the major companies in knowledge management, and pulled in remote speakers from the US government (OSHA), Dow Jones, academia, etc., and a Visionary Vendor Panel which represented Xobni, ClearContext, Xerox PARC, Microsoft, and us, Nordic River.  The Visionary Vendors were also the winners of this year’s Basex Excellence Awards (the “Baseys”): a picture of ours is below.

“Collaboration on documents is a given in knowledge work, yet the way we currently work has countless built-in inefficiencies,” said Jonathan B. Spira, CEO and Chief Analyst, Basex. “We selected TextFlow because it provides a simple yet elegant solution that simplifies the authoring process, a necessary first step that can lead to significant gains in productivity.”  Thank you for those words, thank you for the award, and long may we all collaborate well.
